Totally understand the frustration and anxiety...it's like split lives! My mind is all over the place... definitely time management, but also how to bridge the gap...we have to love all we do in one way or another. Otherwise life is pretty annoying :P ahah...

Great Post!

I can so relate to split the "self" to work on our creative projects. As I work part-time (4-days week, non creative type work), I could only work on my creative projects on week nights & weekend. This causes some frustration and anxiety as I keep thinking I need more time to practice, learn etc. The reality is I was tired after work and have not much energy for creativity. The guilt zips in and I beat (mentally!) myself up big time.

I think the solution is a more effective time management and realistic expectation of our creative work. Just my 2 cents of thought.

BTW, I think you're doing well with your creative pursuit. Keep going! ;)

I know, something always pops up. I've learned things just can't be planned exactly. More like we have to plan lots of possible scenarios to be prepared for anything - if that makes sense! I totally understand the whole being at home thing...some folks just don't understand. I've been in a super stress corporate job - where hours went crazy. But also been in jobs where you leave at 5pm and you are free! For me, working at home is like life is job and job is life, etc...everything all muddled together!

do you ever feel like "as soon as I get this one thing out of the way, then everything will be smooth again", but then there is always another one thing? I struggle with trying to get my friends to understand that just because I'm at home doesn't mean my schedule is open. I'm trying to get more strict with them:)

Thanks for the encouragement...sometimes we all just have to stick to it...with the highs and lows! Thank you for stopping by as well...so happy to see what others are doing and visiting each other virtually.
