Inspiration from past work
Sometimes you can give yourself an inspirational boost by just looking at your own past work. I found a bunch of my old artwork and watercolors while organizing and cleaning. Even though there’s a lot of sketches or experiments, just seeing all the different pieces I’ve done reminded me of how far I’ve come. It felt really good to see the progression and it’s definitely inspiring me to do more. I want to keep moving forward and keep exploring to see where it all takes me.

I hope you can look back at your own work and see how much you’ve already accomplished. Or maybe an unfinished idea will spark up a new passion and sense of motivation? Don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back and then use the positive energy to inspire yourself to Spring forward. Happy Monday folks!

These are lovely! I especially like the whale and the cute doggy by the lamp post. I absolutely agree with you about taking time to pat ourselves on the back. I forget to do it sometimes but when I do, it gives me the strength to keep going. Thanks for sharing your watercolours! *pats you on the back*
Thank you so much…my husband also likes the doggy waiting by the lamp post…hehe! I hope we can all take a little breather and celebrate – then move forward with lots of energy! Woohoo!
These are wonderful! I love the whale, the dog by the lamppost and the little girl! Great work. You totally deserve to pat yourself in the back

Oh Linda! The whale reminds me of a song I used to sing to my kids when they were little…what a great trip down memory lane! Thanks

Linda,
Amazing past work!
I also like looking through my past creativity, and I always see it for what it is and sometimes even find new meaning in it, which I wouldn’t have found before! Art is very igniting.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate you checking out my blog and work…it’s so nice to connect with folks, even if we are in different parts of the world, the internet allows us to share!
