Terry Telford on November 2, 2010 at 9:44 pm Hi Linda! Found you on the AEDM site–just checking out some fellow artists–and thought I’d say hello. 🙂 I love your journal idea & I’m looking forward to seeing how you visualize different emotions. Cheers from California! 🙂 Leah Virsik on November 2, 2010 at 10:08 pm Hi Linda! This is such a great idea. I love those holes at the bottom of the page. You’ll definitely have a habit… I imagine… when you go through this process. It’s something I’m working on… creating structure and making art a priority… doing it first thing. xo Leah linda on November 2, 2010 at 10:44 pm Thanks for stopping by! It’s definitely fun to participate with AEDM…great energy and motivation for everyone 🙂 linda on November 2, 2010 at 10:46 pm Thanks, Leah! Oh everyone seems to like those holes…I knew it would be fun to keep those in instead of ripping the paper out of the original binding 🙂 The paper is actually from a watercolor block of paper. BTW, sometimes I totally get overwhelmed and find it hard to get the artsy time, too. It happens sometimes! chel on November 3, 2010 at 3:41 am Another gorgeous page. I love the colors and the journaling. How long do each of these pages take, just out of curiosity? Susan Reep on November 3, 2010 at 6:11 am I randomly picked you from the AEDM posting and am glad I did. I’m going to look at this journal project. I’m needing all the inspiration I can get lately. I like your journal page very much. And I see my good friend Terry Telford checked in on this page also! linda on November 3, 2010 at 9:17 am Hi Chel…thanks so much for your lovely comments as always. I actually work on it throughout the day, because I just let the layers air dry. So a few minutes in the morning…some more time before lunch and hopefully finish in the afternoon if things don’t get in the way! Sometimes I’ve already written the journaling or note part to include beforehand too… I suppose in total it’s not a lot of time, but spread out. If you have your journal lying around, it helps to spur on sparks when you feel like doing something! linda on November 3, 2010 at 9:18 am Hi Susan – Oh I’m so glad and honored you found me! Sometimes it takes a bit of a project to get yourself that creative playtime…that’s what I’m hoping for here…just playtime throughout the day, so it’s not all work!
