Try Scribble Drawing

Sometimes I start my drawings by scribbling. I make marks or swirl my pen around and around to see where it takes me. There’s nothing wrong with being extremely sketchy with your lines – hey, the one time sketchiness is good! I call it scribble drawing. I do this in my sketchbook quite often, but it’s also a very fun exercise to do in large scale. If you ever have a large canvas to play on… try scribbling all over first. It’s fun!

I like scribbling too, although I always named it ‘sketching without any set idea’ in my head :)

I LOVE this! It’s sort of like sculpting with lines, seeing what comes out.

Thanks @Adelaida and @Chel! Both of you have cooler names for scribbling… ahah!
