This year I decided to tackle my memory keeping in a planner format and at first, I wasn’t sure how it would all work out. I created my own leather bound book and then I was totally inspired by Stephanie Bryan’s project life mini books and decided to follow in her footsteps. I’m really happy with the results and the ability to combine everything in one place.
I was able to finish up January and wanted to share all the various pages I’ve created. They vary from traditional scrapbook pages to little inserts to a calendar planner page. It’s a big mix and I really like the freedom to do whatever!
My only concern is how thick this book will get after a full year of memory keeping. Hopefully the big rings I have are enough, because I like to keep the year all together. I subscribe to Studio Calico’s monthly PL kit, so all the supplies are from the January Far Far Away Project Life® Kit, plus some other bits I already had in my stash.
I have to say my favorite part is the opening page with the gold 2015 lettering and the vellum see-thru to the photo of my son. I just adore it, even though it’s so simple! I’m really looking forward to adding to my memory book and so happy to have found something that is inspiring me – yay!
