I know that the only way to truly learn is to roll up one’s sleeves and get to work! So for 2013 I’m going to be all about creating repeat patterns for practice. However, I’m going through a specific process so that I’m creating the repeat tiles properly and equally presenting my patterns in an aesthetically pleasing and professional way. How do you like my first try, Blue Flowers? It’s pretty natural for me to doodle up flowers, but I decided to make them in a blue family color scheme since it’s cold and freezing here in Italy. A bit of icey, cold flower freshness.
