So I’ve really been getting back to paper and creating some holiday cards. Some just to test out some techniques and others just for fun. I’m definitely enjoying coloring image with my Copic markers as well…*swoon* I’m wanting to buy more and more colors! Crafting is addicting, no? So here’s my first card using my little snow queen digital image. Very simple, but I didn’t want to take away from the focal image, but did add some faux stitching with a white gel pen. That is definitely something I picked up from Kristina Werner. I’m thinking this is a perfect entry for this week’s digital tuesday challenge!

Then I created some more holiday season cards after learning some techniques from Jennifer McGuire’s Holiday Thinking Inking series on Two Peas In A Bucket. Playing with my distress inks more, I am learning how to use them in different ways…not to mention getting myself all inky!

Also, here are some close-ups of the clear but sparkly heat embossing powder I used…I seem to be on a kick of just heat embossing whole images…I just like that gloss and slight shine in the light. It’s hard to photograph though…hope you enjoyed stopping by and thanks for checking out my cards!
