I really love the imperfections in rubber stamping…at my skill level anyway. Even when the impression is a bit smudged, I love the effect…because you know it’s handmade, hand stamped by me.

However, there are times when it would be nice to get a crisp image and that’s why I also love digital stamping. Not to mention you can print as many copies as you would like and I can design my own materials. It can be really difficult to find certain brand names here in Italy, so I love being able to create my own materials instead of ordering expensive materials from overseas.

That’s when I turned to hybrid cardmaking. Use digital elements to create materials for print, then making it a tactile handmade card. I’ve tried this a few times and shared my experimentations on this blog. I thought it would be nice to share links to the freebies I’ve offered previously, in case you have missed them.

Give them a try and let me know what you think about hybrid card making…
