I’ve seen a lot of stair step cards out there and started mine after randomly folding my cardstock. Although It’s really just a back and forth fold in my case – not one of the more complicated versions, I think it’s still a nice variation to the regular flat card.

I added my little punched hearts everywhere – totally addicted to them and then created a bit of a background scene with patterned papers. The prince is a Hero Arts stamp that I bought because it just makes me think of my husband! We have been watching Once Upon A Time together, so the whole prince charming or principe azzurro in Italian, fits nicely for this Valentines.

I don’t think I really took advantage of the stair step-ness of the card…but it’s nice to know that it’s easy to do. Either way, it definitely makes your front panel pop out. I’m going to slip a chocolate in the middle valley part to hide it a bit.

Another not-so-little valentine for this series of cards – yay!
