As we get closer to Christmas day, gift cards are sort of a last resort idea, especially for those hard to shop for people. The problem is how to package it up to be an actual pretty, presentable gift?! So let me share a few ways to wrap a gift card that I found while browsing for a solution myself. It’s really nice to add a special handmade touch to gift card giving!
Are you are on the last-minute band wagon, grabbing gift cards for all the people left on your Christmas list? Or perhaps, you actually enjoy giving gift cards, because they allow you to show your gratitude without burdening people with another generic gift item?
I actually really love the idea of gift cards if you don’t have a very specific gift in mind for your recipient. It gives them the power to choose what they truly would like and eliminates the knick knacks and random gift ideas out there, that usually result in clutter for the house.
However, we always have this issue of wrapping gift cards. We all want to present the card as a pretty gift!
Even though gift cards are easy to pick up at the store and have pretty designs on them already, I still like to put them in a pretty envelope, pretty box or some container to wrap up. The extra effort of packaging it up really does make the receiver feel special and loved. And for those who are making multiples for teachers or co-workers… it’s definitely a good idea to spruce up the gift cards with a handmade component!
I love paper printables and the easiest way to package up a gift card is to put it in a small box and wrap it up like a traditional gift! Even wrapping up an envelope can be a nice idea, because there’s still that element of presenting a nicely wrapped gift with a ribbon in the end.
So I created these simple, elegant, printer-friendly holiday stars papers to share with you. They are easy to print at home, as many copies you might need, to wrap up all your gift cards.
Download the 12×12 inch printable PDFs below, in your preferred color and wrap away.

There are many lovely Christmas printables available out there, but I was looking for something easy to use, printer-friendly with no waste, in terms of trimming the paper printable. So I designed these little gift tag designs myself to be no waste, easy trimming and great for kids and adults.
These gift tags are formatted on LETTER and A4 sized paper, so the idea is to print actual size. Then you can simply cut the paper equally to get 8 tags. No fussy cutting or confusion with fancy shapes!
I definitely needed these tags for my gift wrapping this season, so I hope you will enjoy adding them to all the presents you are putting together this year.
Download your preferred paper size below and print on cardstock if you want to punch a hole and string through some festive ribbon for decoration. However, I actually printed on regular printer paper and washi taped them down onto my gifts.

December is usually a very busy month for families and I like to see all things in a month view. It really does help me to prepare mentally. So I actually print multiple copies to keep track of events, due dates, projects and daily check-off items.
I hope this December 2018 monthly calendar printable will help you with your holiday lists. This month definitely requires a bit of planning to get through, without getting too crazy! You can even paste this printable in your bullet journal or planner. Or you can tack it up on the wall or your cubicle to keep organized!
For the pattern design, I chose a grounding dark forest green color for the background. Then I used just one little stylized tree motif repeated and it sort of represents order for me! I hope you like this design as a monthly printable!
