A little peek into my art process of doodling cute girl characters. I love to draw them, but don’t know what to do with these drawings. I suppose it is a comic way for me to simply riff off of variations and express some mood or attempt to impose a more positive mindset onto myself sometimes!

In this video, I share a drawing in real-time that is decidedly not as happy looking… but it actually coincided nicely for the 4th of July this year, a day when many artists and creatives have decided to mark with a bit of protest on Instagram… and I’ve extended it here as well… hashtag #showusyourmorals

Here’s my process of making a journal with tomoe river paper, super thin paper that takes up very little space. So I have cut slits in the spine for binding instead of punching holes.
