Last week I shared a traditional airmail stationery set printable for this month of April – National Letter Writing Month… but I’m not done with the airmail designs! I’ve shared variations in the past, classic airmail stationery, alternative christmas airmail colors and a vintage map airmail postcard printable.
But today I thought it would be cool to have the airmail design on a greeting card printable for a change. Sometimes we want that letterwriting look, but we just want a greeting card instead of actual stationery writing paper.
So here’s a printable everyday airmail greeting card with matching envelope. You can use this for many different occasions and include the design in your paper crafting projects as well. It’s classic!

I’m not sure what it is, but everyone seems to love the look and feel of vintage maps. I’m definitely no exception and one day would love to have a variety of vintage maps framed in my house. Besides the fun of learning a bit of geography when we look at maps, it’s also fun to discover what has changed since the map had been created. There are so many party games that can come out of having a few maps on your wall too! Anyway, I thought it would be cool to use a vintage world map as part of an airmail design that you can print and fold to become a postcard. I found this cool map that has different routes drawn out – like you are sending your postcard across the world.
I realize that a postcard needs to be of a certain thickness, so make sure you print this on thick cardstock that can be sent by post. Otherwise, you can even wrap this around an existing postcard to be sure it is sendable. Just download the file below in the paper format your prefer.

Want a cute little mini airmail design in fresh colors for your papercrafting project? Lately, I’ve been noticing the light blue and pinkish red combination of colors for the Christmas season. I’m more drawn to the palette that is light, airy, fresh and snowy…rather than the traditional classic red and green. Somehow seems more peaceful and quiet happy.
So, I decided to update my airmail stationery to these colors for a little tiny gift card design. You can see my printout on my december daily page below:
Really small and cute, nothing fancy. Matching card with little envelope.

So I’ve always loved the look of dip pen handwriting, reminding me of the time when traditional correspondence was the norm. Unfortunately, my touristy-bought Italian dip pen set has been collecting dust in a box. I have really bad hand control and found it so difficult to write anything at all. Perhaps I was too impatient or perhaps I just didn’t give myself enough time to develop, so I want to give it another try. I realize practice makes perfect…the wonderful wisdom we learn from kindergarten.

I quickly designed a cute airmail stationery set to get myself into the mood of handwriting a letter. You can see from the photo that I printed on creamy cardstock which was perfect for the envelope but too big and too thick for the stationery writing paper. I reprinted the writing paper on plain paper and that definitely looks better. These were printed at half size to make mini-letters but of course the PDF is full US Letter sized paper.
