My Design Motivations
Intolerance of any kind seems to be a common problem when you flip through news outlets these days. It’s such a horrible thing, yet we all do it to some degree or another. Judgement of others, rejection of others… or even ourselves!
I want to create something positive and happy to share with you all, so I though the phrase “Create, don’t hate” would be perfect. Because truly, it all comes down to that.
Hate just doesn’t serve us at all… it’s the root of so many problems in our society. Rather, whatever issues may be, it’s creation that will help us find the way. Find solutions, think creatively, make love… all that good stuff. Create!
I know that I’m just a little designer at her desk, tackling the everyday issues of life – like many of you! With all the big issues of this world, it seems impossible to make change. But really, all we have to do is concentrate on creation. Create beautiful things, joyful things, happy things… good things. The more creation there is, the more it will weed out all the other negative stuff – or at least, help to overpower it!
So that’s what this art printable is all about. A simple graphic design with my favorite colors. You can download this letter sized printable to put up all around you house, workplace, planners, art journals – or plaster it up all over the neighborhood!
I hope it will remind you to look towards the positive in life and make you realize you CAN do something. Just create!

My design inspiration…
I’m always looking to follow inspiring people and Amy Landino is someone I have followed on Youtube via her channel AmyTV.
She’s an expert in vlogging, but really shares all kinds of tips and tricks around lifestyle, living well and productivity.
She has this signature line in her videos to say good morning, good life and I was so inspired one day, I had to create a set of prints with that sentiment!
Design details…
I actually created a set of prints and expanded the thought a bit, so there are 3 separate art printables that include:
- good morning, good life
- heart
- good life, good night
And of course, all of this with a simple, chic look on blush pink! This art printable set is perfect for your bedroom or office wall.
For me, it’s really about setting a positive intention in your day, as soon as you wake up. Have a good morning, to make yourself a good life and keeping that thought in mind, means you will have a good night as well.
Sort of full circle, tie it all together… because our perspective on life really does matter a lot and makes a big difference in how we tackle all the issues we will surely bump up against in life.

Because lobsters stay together forever, check out this free lobster art printable for Valentine’s, couples and love themed projects.
If you have ever watched My Bestfriend’s Wedding, you’ll know that there is a musical scene when they all sing I’ll Say A Little Prayer For You. Besides being an epic part of the film, you might also notice that the servers at the restaurant have lobster claw mitts and they are waving them about in the background. Yup, I noticed that and think it’s hilarious. Hilarious and cute at the same time. Adorable really.
In a flash, I had this vision of lobsters making the heart motif with their claws, can you imagine it? And because we all need a free printable lobster art piece, this print came into existence. A great funny piece for your walls, cubicles, desks, planners and more.
We all know how trendy it is to say “i heart you” and do that heart sign with your hands. So that’s exactly the idea behind this design… Also, is it true when people say lobsters mate for life? I don’t know, but I think it’s a lovely idea. It’s forever! And that’s how the little saying has become a part of this print.
